Group: Preliminary Task - Feedback

Today we reviewed our preliminary tasks, looking at our strengths and weaknesses. As well as this, yesterday we visited a location to film a short scene (posts to follow), so discussed what we learnt from the reccie.

Strengths

• LS of chase
• Use of simple shots
• Soundtrack, especially non-diegetic
• Reaction shots
• Starting continuity

Targets

• Get multiple takes of each shot in order to ensure potential for continuity
• Remove or dim unnecessary sound
• Have opportunity to recover/redo corrupted shots- TIME KEEPING

Reccies

• Take photographs of locations prior to decisions
• Capture unusable film/photos of possible shots
• Assess lighting
